About Topsham
Topsham is just 10 minutes from the city of Exeter and the M5.
London 2.5 - 3 hours , Birmingham 2.5 hours, Bristol 1 hour
Topsham is a very popular place for yachting and the river has many boats and yachts which are moored along the river here.
On the opposite side of the Exe is The Turf (public house) and a popular canal walk which, in summer only, you could catch the Topsham Lock ferry (opposite the Passage) - but check the ferry times to make sure you can get back. At other times it can be reached via the Topsham-Turf Ferry which runs from Trout's boatyard.
There is a popular Saturday market which takes place in Matthews Hall, also the venue for other events including local plays.
There are public tennis courts, a bowling green, and a superb open-air heated swimming pool.
